Our Home boarding service is for owners for whom the prospect of leaving their dog in a kennel whilst they're away enjoying a luxury break is totally unthinkable. Our Clients prefer not to put their dogs into traditional boarding kennels and are looking to board their dog in a safe, clean, caring family home.
Dogs that are placed by Waggin & Walkin are housetrained and non-aggressive. We only accept dogs that have a calm, placid nature and are well behaved. You will be able to specify which breeds of dogs fit in with your lifestyle best.
We are very flexible and will be happy for you to take an occasional dog, or we can approach you with as many bookings as you wish. Host families do have regular dogs that they care for time and time again however, home boarding is not regular work; some of our bookings are just for weekends and others can be for up to two weeks at a time. Our doggy day-carers received regular work every week.
As a host you will be expected to feed, walk and care for the dog. You will get to meet the dog before the booking starts to ensure that you are happy. You have the option to reject the booking once you have met the dog if you feel uncomfortable.
